I think one of the biggest takeaways from this is the most retweeted tweet was tied to a contest to win a Josh Hamilton replica bat. Social contests are highly effective at driving followers and engagement. The data also shows the potential impact of player in-game tweets if that opportunity was ever expanded beyond “exhibition” games.
