Cricket Australia did this last year. The third day of the New Year's Test match against South Africa was renamed Jane McGrath Day after Aussie legend Glenn McGrath's wife, who died last year at the age of 42 after a long battle with breast cancer. All the players jerseys for Australia had pink sponsors logos, the field had painted-on pink logos, and several players also had pink bat handles/grips on their bats. The stumps were also painted pink. The majority of the 40,000 crowd turned out wearing pink. It was all very well planned. Every year now, the initiative will continue to be held on the third day of the Sydney New Year's Test, Jane McGrath Day.

The NFL has proven once again that it is the league that the other leagues follow. This was truly an all-encompassing campaign rather than a "charity quota to fill" effort that these things can sometimes look like. Very well done.
